The Parent & Teen Toolbox

Jan 5, 2021

The date has changed - but in many respects, we are still stuck with the same rubbish from 2020.

What can we look forward to?
How can we plan for a brighter future?

2020 has taught me many things - both as a parent and an individual.

I am NOT running into 2021 with the “Up and At ‘em” approach. I am taking it slowly and seeing how this year is going to unravel.

I share my top 15 lessons that I have learned from 2020.

2. Don’t PLAN too far ahead
3. Embrace CHANGE
4. It’s OK to make MISTAKES
5. Be the LEADER your child needs
6. You are not your child’s SLAVE
7. Control your TEMPER
9. Follow through with CONSEQUENCES
10. Stop WORRYING too much about their behaviour
12. be STEADFAST in your approach to life
13. Practice SELF-CARE
14. TRUST that it will all be OK

Yesterday is history
Tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift - and this is why we call it the PRESENT.

Breathe Through Your Big Emotions
This course offers you tools to combat :
* Overwhelm
* Stress
* Anxieties
* Tension

If you are looking for support at a deeper level for your child, then please book a call with me. Invariably they might only need a couple of sessions. But if we can give our kids the tools to improve their emotional wellbeing NOW - then you’re more likely to alleviate the longer-term damage to their mental health.

* Three Questions to Ask Your Uncommunicative Child :

All too often parents say to me :

“My child won’t speak to me”
“I know something’s not quite right - but they won’t tell me what’s wrong.”

Well, I have a resource for you.

It will help you reconnect with your child quickly and easily; and in a way that will not drive them to their bedroom to avoid you!
